Deep Dive into Moom: The Intelligent Assistant Turning Sketches into Reality
Moom works like an “Intelligent Design Assistant” that helps with one of the most frustrating parts of any design project: communicating ideas clearly. Having a vision in your head is one thing; getting others to see the same thing is another. Traditional design tools are powerful, but they take time to learn and still require a lot of manual work. With Moom, you can start by simply uploading a floor plan or photos of your room, whether it’s a new condo or an office you’ve just rented. From there, Moom processes the space and turns it into realistic 3D views, placing furniture and layouts based on your needs, preferences, and spatial constraints.
However, the true innovation lies in the fact that Moom doesn’t just “draw” it “calculates.” The system analyzes elements within the 3D space to identify product lists and estimate preliminary costs. Additionally, Moom tracks how customers interact with products, providing data-driven insights to optimize sales. What used to take architects days or weeks to design and cost-estimate is now a process that can be completed in a few clicks. This allows project owners and designers to look at “aesthetics” and “practicality” side by side, make decisions earlier, and move forward with much more confidence.

The classic problems of construction and design are budget overruns and delays. Moom was developed specifically to solve these issues by serving as a toolkit that goes beyond visualization to integrate real-world data management. Maitai explains the unique features that distinguish Moom from general AI and how it elevates the architectural industry:
“Our intention is to Unlock Design Value and make it more accessible. Moom’s solution, therefore, doesn’t stop at creating beautiful visuals. We developed an AI Toolkit that integrates Real-time Budgeting and Insights. This allows architects and homeowners to see both budget figures and environmental impacts immediately during the design phase. It leads to more accurate decision-making, reduces redundancy, and ensures that quality design can actually be realized.”

TECHBITE: The Turning Point from ‘Designer’ to ‘Global Entrepreneur’
Behind Moom’s significant leap is its participation in the TECHBITE program under KX Knowledge Xchange, which served as a “Game Changer” that completed their business puzzle. What Moom gained was not just knowledge, but a “Mindset Shift” through intensive Mentoring and Business Matching sessions. This shifted their perspective from focusing solely on crafting the perfect product (Perfectionist Designer) to seeing the bigger picture through the lens of investors and building a truly Scalable Business model.
Furthermore, TECHBITE acted as an “Ecosystem of Possibilities,” a hub connecting Thai startups to international opportunities. The strong support and network from the program were key drivers that led to Moom being accepted into Urban Tech Helsinki in Finland. This achievement stands as proof that TECHBITE is not just a business school, but a true launchpad propelling Thai Deep Tech to the global stage.
Lessons for Future Startups
Currently, Moom is moving towards its goal of becoming a Global Platform to “Make fit-out design intuitive for all.”
Finally, Maitai shares essential advice for new startups just beginning their journey:
“One thing architects and startup founders have in common is this: talk to users more than you talk about users. Founders often debate internally instead of listening externally. Regular, structured user conversations will save you months of wrong decisions. Listen beyond words: observe behavior, hesitation, and what’s left unsaid. That’s where real insight lives. And importantly, put yourself in the right ecosystem, like TECHBITE. Traveling this path alone is difficult, but great opportunities often come from connections, networks, and the right advice.”
